Jacquelyn D. Cook

Biography
Jacquelyn D. Cook serves as Assistant General Counsel at the University of Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ at Lafayette, where she provides legal counsel on contracts, compliance, policy development, and institutional risk management.
Before transitioning to higher education, Jacquelyn spent six years practicing civil litigation, representing clients across Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ in matters involving commercial disputes, professional liability, insurance defense, and personal injury.
She earned her J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she served on the Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Law Review. She is admitted to practice in all Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ state and federal courts.
