A member of the University of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ at Lafayette’s staff for eight years and counting, Amanda Henderson has spent the past five years within the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Ragin’ Cajuns Department of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½.

In her present role, she serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Director of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½, Deputy Directors of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½, RCAF and Compliance.

Henderson manages the day-to-day operations of the Director of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ office and also provides advanced level administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team.

A May 2013 graduate of the University with a degree in business management, Henderson’s service to her alma mater began as a student worker in the Registrar’s Office where she was mentored by Dr. Dewayne Bowie. Upon graduation, she was offered an administrative position with the Registrar’s Office, which started her present tenure in the University’s community.

Henderson transitioned to the Department of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ in July 2015 working under the Director of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ and Sr. Associate Director of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ before being elevated to her current role.

The Lafayette native currently resides in Maurice, La., with her husband, Christopher Henderson, and children, Cole and Aubrey Henderson.
