鈥淪ome of our professors worked in hospitals and shared real experiences. I鈥檇 review my tests with them, and they鈥檇 walk me through what I could鈥檝e done better. Having that connection and input really helped me.鈥
鈥淚 never felt lost. Even online, I always had someone to reach out to. The professors in the health services administration program do a great job of making sure students feel supported and connected, and I ended up making some great friendships through the online program, too.鈥
鈥淣o one thinks about the question: If there鈥檚 a cure for cancer, how do they find that? It鈥檚 through the important data that cancer registrars collect.鈥
鈥淏eing full-time can feel like a lot to keep up with, but I was able to do two classes each eight weeks and still maintain full-time status. It just makes the workload more manageable.鈥
鈥淚 was still able to do my job, be a mom, be a wife, be a caregiver, and do all the other things because I had so much structure through the professors. They are wonderful. They made it doable."
鈥淓verything I learned in HSA 鈥 health care collaboration, finance in healthcare, communication styles, leadership 鈥 just became more detailed as I got higher up into my education.鈥
