鈥淗aving that hands-on work experience helped me see the bigger picture in my classes and connect the dots between what I was learning and how it plays out in real life.鈥
鈥淏e intentional and purpose driven. It鈥檚 not going to be easy, but it鈥檚 all about how you plan and go about your day-to-day life. Be structured and just know that if I can do it while juggling a business, so can you.鈥
鈥淭he instructors were always available. I鈥檇 message them, and they鈥檇 get back with me either the same day or the next. Even the staff 鈥 financial aid, enrollment support 鈥 always answered the phone. Everything was smooth.鈥
鈥淚 always tell the kids I coach that it鈥檚 OK if you want to get into the workforce, but you have to get an education. Whether it鈥檚 online, on campus, I don鈥檛 care. Just get an education.鈥
鈥淥nline worked so much better for me, because I can sit in a classroom and not get anything from it. But put me in a curriculum, tell me to go do the work for myself and do the reading, and I can pick up on it. But compared to in-person classes, you have to be a go getter, or it's just not going to come to you.鈥
鈥淲ith online classes, if I get it, I can go through it faster. And if I don't get it, I can take more time and figure it out, you know? So, working at my own pace helped with not getting too bored or not getting too behind.鈥
